On this fun and educational kayak & SUP eco tour, Outer Banks Kayak Adventures will transport you to a different time as we paddle along the scenic canals and marshes of Roanoke Island. Along with its lush scenery, the famous Roanoke Island has been echoed through the channels of history for many generations. On this tour, our very knowledgeable tour guides will tell you the legendary story of the first permanent English settlement on Roanoke Island and the mystery of the Lost Colony. The surrounding marshes are also home to a wide variety of wildlife such as river otter, turtles, cormorants, and osprey. On a perfect day, we’ll catch a glimpse of these fascinating animals as they wander around the marshlands. This hour and a half kayak tour is the total package for outdoor enthusiasts looking for adventure and history buffs that enjoy learning about the vast and exciting history that the Outer Banks has to offer.

You’ll see a sign for the boat ramp parking lot on the right. (Follow signs for the boat ramp) Please be sure to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the tour start time.
