Our Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge kayak tour is the best way to explore this Birder’s Paradise. Pea Island is a small barrier island located at the northern end of Hatteras on the Outer Banks. As we paddle along the Pamlico sound, the clear shallow water provides us with a fantastic view of stingray, crabs, skates, and other aquatic wildlife. Birds are the main attraction, with an impressive list of 365 species of reported bird sightings.
